And so it begins.

It’s finally getting closer to the winter holidays, and I am mostly off of work for the last two weeks of December. I’m hoping to finally get to work on my two websites, this one—which will be my personal playground and blog—and my professional site, dalemoore.net. That site will just be a basic portfolio with contact information, etc. , updated perhaps quarterly with new work. This site will be updated on an as-frequently-as-possible basis.

The plan is to post thoughts, sketches, finished pieces here—but only the cream of the crop will make it to my professional site.

So, I hope you’ll join me in the next few weeks as I work to get the ball rolling on all of this. I know I’ve been putting these things off for years, focusing on work for pay, but the fact of the matter is, all work and no play has made my life very boring lately. So I aim to rectify that with experimentation in different media—digital photography, acrylic painting, concept art, illustration, and web design—the progress and results of which you’ll be able to see right here.

Stay tuned.
